MADC at Save My Family Event

Anyone who cares about youth should attend this event! In today’s world, it is critical that parents are empowered to help protect their children in every way possible. These Save My Family events are geared to provide you with the tools, insights, and resources to better enable you to understand several of the major forces that are impacting your kids’ psychological, emotional, and physical well-being. We have assembled a panel of experts to provide training and inspiration on how to successfully navigate the waters that kids and teens are caught in. There is so much that parents don’t know. Be enlightened by the experts including Officer Gomez, Former FBI Agent Hart, pediatric neurologist, Dr. Condie and event coordinator Kelli Rich. They’ll discuss social media, drugs, addiction, and other issues you need to know about to keep your kids safe. All parents are invited. Meridian Trunk or Treat

Join us for Meridian's best Halloween event - Trunk or Treat. This event has become a local favorite and the 'must do' event of the year. Get your costumes ready and join us on Thursday, October 24 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm on the Meridian City Hall Plaza and surrounding streets. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring cash or can donations for the Meridian Food Bank Backpack Program which serves more than 700 youth every weekend. One dollar or one can per youth is the suggested donation. Pour Painting Workshop

In this super interactive and fun Fluid Art class, you will learn paint pouring techniques and apply those techniques to your very own masterpieces. Event signup includes all art supplies, including three canvases, and all the paint and design tools the techniques call for (butane torches, blow dryers, spinning wheels, music, props and so much more)!
